About Vortumnus

The God of Transformation and Abundance

In Roman mythology, Vortumnus was the god of transformation, the guardian of crops, the keeper of seasonality, and the master of nature’s cycle. He was known for his extraordinary power – the ability to transform plants and fruits, adapting them to the rhythm of the seasons. He was most often depicted with a wreath on his head and a cornucopia, the symbol of the earth’s abundance.

It is his name that our brand bears, because – like him – we value the gifts of nature, changeability, beauty, and the flavor of what is natural and seasonal.

Tradition Inspired by Nature

Vortumnus is not just a name – it is our philosophy. Just as the god of abundance drew inspiration from nature, so do we. We believe that what is natural and seasonal holds the greatest value.

That is why we create our fruit and vegetable preserves in harmony with the rhythm of nature and with respect for a tradition we have cultivated for nearly 50 years.

Seasonality lies at the heart of our philosophy.

Flavours in the Rhythm of the Seasons

Just as Vortumnus guided the cycle of transformations in nature, we follow its rhythm, adapting our offer to the changing gifts of the land. As a result, each of our products reflects the authentic taste and diversity of the seasons – from the first harvests of spring, through the juicy abundance of summer, to the rich flavors of autumn and winter preserves that evoke memories.

The variability and harmony of nature form the foundation of our traditional recipes, which we have nurtured with passion for almost half a century.

Inspired by the god of transformation, every day

we create preserves that capture the taste

of seasonality and the very best that nature has to offer”.
